About Me

Hi there! I am Alexia Turenne, MOT, OTR/L;

My clients know me as Ms. Lexi. As the owner and founder of Move to Thrive Therapy, PLLC, I bring 5+ years of experience working as a pediatric occupational therapist to the Austin, Texas community. I am a University of South Florida graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health & a University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences graduate with a Masters in Occupational Therapy. I am licensed to practice in TX, CO & CA, as well as Nationally Board Certified in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

I have worked as a school-based OT, in private practices, virtually, and in client's homes across the United States as a travel therapist.Through this experience, I have gained a deep understanding of the diverse needs of children and their families from an array of cultural backgrounds. Deciding to bridge the gap between a child's two most important environments, I founded Move to Thrive with the goal of building relationships with families around the Austin community to provide play-based OT services to children in their homes and community.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with my partner, family, friends (& pup)- hiking, on the river, traveling, reading, & exploring the food and music scene around town!
